Currant juice liqueur

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of fresh currant juice (red or black)
  • 1 liter of schnapps (38%), clear, preferably grain
  • 250 g sugar (half rock sugar and half preserving sugar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Pour the fresh currant juice and schnapps into a large bottle and add the sugar. Let stand for a few days until the sugar dissolves. Shake occasionally if necessary. This liqueur is ready to drink immediately. It doesn’t need to stand any longer.
