Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pork fillet(s) or 2 fillet heads
  • 2 cups cream, or Cremefine cooking cream
  • 1 dash of ketchup
  • 1 package of ham (Black Forest)
  • some butter
  • some parsley, fresh or dried
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Simple but very tasty dish!

Cut the pork fillet into approximately 2 cm thick slices. Wrap each slice in a slice of Black Forest ham. Place the fillet rolls vertically, fatter side up, in a lightly buttered baking dish. Mix the cream with the ketchup, using enough ketchup to achieve a nice pink color. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt and pepper, stir in some parsley, and pour over the fillet rolls. These delicious rolls need about 1 hour in an oven preheated to 180°C. They will then be very tender, and the ham, still peeking out of the sauce, will be crispy. Serve wonderfully with spaetzle and a leaf salad.
