Fast and affordable

Cut the bacon and onions into small pieces and fry in a pan until translucent. Then stir in the salsa sauce and sour cream and simmer gently. Season to taste with a little garlic powder and pepper. A little salt is optional, but it’s not really necessary. Then place the schnitzels in a baking dish and season with a little pepper. Pour the sauce over the schnitzels and, covered with aluminum foil, let them sizzle in the oven at 175°C on the middle rack for about 50-60 minutes. If you like, you can remove the aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes and sprinkle with some cheese. This goes perfectly with mashed potatoes and lamb’s lettuce with paprika dressing or beans with bacon.
