Bärbel's delicious quark dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg quark (low-fat)
  • 400 ml cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • n. B. sugar
  • Sauce (Caramel sauce from Schwartau)
  • Angostura, some dashes as needed
  • 2 bowls of physalis

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whip the cream until stiff. Mix the quark with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and cream. Prepare 4 dessert glasses. First, add 1-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce and a few dashes of Angostura to each glass. Then, add about 6 physalis sprigs to the sauce (wash the physalis first). Spread the quark mixture on top. Finally, garnish with more physalis sprigs, if desired, and a few dashes of Angostura. I serve this as an extravagant breakfast or as dessert.
