Marzipan cake base

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g marzipan paste
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 ½ tbsp flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix all ingredients until smooth and then pour into a springform pan. Bake at approximately 150°C (convection oven) for 35 minutes. Let cool and top as desired. If you like, you can cover the base with chocolate coating and top with strawberries, or top with a delicious custard and cream mixture and sour cherries from a jar (save the juice for the glaze)… the sky’s the limit!
