Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 pork medallions, 75 g each
- 16 slices of bacon
- 3 apples, sour, peeled, cored, sliced
- ½ tsp thyme, dried
- ½ bunch parsley, chopped
- 3 slices toast bread, shredded
- 200g Gorgonzola
- 300 g whipped cream
- Mustard, medium hot
- butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wrap the meat in bacon and fry until crispy. Peel and slice the apples. Brown the apple slices in butter, then place them in the casserole dish and top with the medallions. Brush the meat with mustard. Combine the cream, crushed cheese, and herbs, season with pepper and salt, and spread the mixture over the meat. Bake in an oven preheated to 175°C (fan oven) for about 25 minutes.
