Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp quark or sour cream or Greek/Turkish yogurt
- 1 tsp apricot jam or other jam according to taste and ingredients
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp Cointreau
- 1 tbsp grenadine
- ½ tsp chipotle chili sauce
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper (Kerala pepper)
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with grilled food and fondue
Only use drained yogurt, as the consistency is too thin. Mix all ingredients until cold and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to infuse. Add or vary the ingredients to taste. We didn’t miss the herbs; they were on the vegetables. We (three people) had this sauce with grilled sirloin steaks, simply brushed with oil and seasoned with salt and pepper after grilling. We served it with roasted vegetables and a stone-baked baguette.
