Italian ham and cheese strudel

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • 200 g meat (smoked loin)
  • 50 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 150 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry and top with the smoked pork loin. Carefully spread the cream cheese over the top. Thinly slice and seed the tomato. Then spread it on the cream cheese. Sprinkle the Emmental cheese over the top and season with oregano. Unroll the strudel, brush with the beaten egg, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Serve with a mixed leaf salad.
