Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 pieces of puff pastry
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Chop the onion and crush the garlic! Add the oil to a pan and heat it up, then fry the onion until golden brown and briefly add the garlic and fry it too! Then add the minced meat and fry it! Season with salt, pepper and chili powder and let it simmer in its own juices on a low heat for about 5 minutes! Next, roll out the puff pastry and spread the filling in the middle! Roll it up and tuck in the ends! I then place the finished strudel on the second rolled out puff pastry, which I then wrap over the top and tuck in the ends again! Finally, I place the strudel on a baking tray lined with baking paper and put it in the preheated oven! I get the temperature and baking time from the puff pastry packaging! I always eat it with chive sauce!
