Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg minced meat, mixed
  • 200 g ham, cooked, in one piece
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda in one piece)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 4 onions
  • 1 pack of garlic (frozen)
  • 2 rolls from the day before
  • 4 eggs
  • Bacon, sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Soak the bread rolls in water. Chop the onions and bell peppers into small pieces. Dice the cheese and ham. Sauté the onions, garlic, and bell peppers, add the ham and fry, and finally stir in the cheese cubes. Combine the minced meat with the squeezed-out bread rolls and eggs, then add the onion and ham mixture and knead. Form it into a nice loaf on a baking sheet and top with the bacon slices. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 75 minutes and add a little water. This goes well with pasta salad and/or baguette.
