from ground spices

Add the individual spices spoonful by spoonful into a clean screw-top jar and mix. You can do this either with a spoon or screw on the lid and shake vigorously. This spice mix is enough for 5-8 uses. Tip: Mustard flour is available in Arab or Turkish shops; if you can’t find any, simply grind the appropriate amount of mustard seeds in a mortar and pestle. For the bay leaf, only take one leaf and grind it. The same applies to celery; you can buy this online from spice shops or simply crush the appropriate amount of celery seeds in a mortar and pestle. Alternatively, you can also use celery salt, but be careful with the amount of salt you add to your dishes.
