Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 ml water
- 40 g butter
- salt and pepper
- 150 g corn semolina (polenta)
- 2 eggs
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Bring the water to a boil with butter and spices. Add the polenta semolina and stir. Let it boil briefly and then remove from the heat. Let it cool slightly and stir in the eggs. Let the mixture cool. Using a tablespoon, form the mixture into dumplings and add them to boiling water. Bring to a boil once and let it steep. Tip: Polenta dumplings can be served as a garnish in hot beef broth or as a main course – topped with strips of ham and gratin sauce.
