Rice casserole with peaches

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g rice, cooked
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion(s), diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Brown the minced meat with the onions, season with salt and pepper. Place the rice in a casserole dish and layer the cooked minced meat on top. Drain the peaches, reserving the juice, chop them, and spread them over the minced meat. Mix the sour cream, cream, and peach juice together and season with curry powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this sauce over the casserole, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
