Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g long grain rice
- 500 g cevapcici, fresh or frozen
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 spring onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 400 g tomatoes, chopped from the can
- 40 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- 100 g feta cheese
- ½ bunch parsley, flat

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Croatian
Prepare the rice according to the package instructions. Fry the cevapcici in hot oil until well cooked all over. Then cut into pieces. Slice the spring onions and crush the garlic. Cut the tomatoes and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces. Sauté everything together, then deglaze with the chopped tomatoes and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the rice and cevapcici to an ovenproof dish. Spread the tomato and vegetable mixture over the rice. Crumble the feta cheese over the rice and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Serve with a generous portion of tzatziki.
