Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate, grated
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tsp sugar (lemon)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 6 egg whites
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs, for the mold
  • n. B. chocolate glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Grease a wreath pan thoroughly and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Freeze until ready to use. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Cream together butter with sugar, lemon sugar, and salt, then gradually add egg yolks. Combine flour with baking powder and nuts and stir in. Finally, fold in beaten egg whites. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth it down. Bake for approximately 60-70 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes, then carefully turn out. Cover with chocolate glaze, if desired.
