Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g dried hibiscus flowers
  • 100 g sugar
  • 0.7 liters of vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 14 days; Total time approx. 14 days 10 minutes

Place hibiscus blossoms and sugar in a wide-mouthed bottle or a similarly sized, sealable jar, pour over the vodka, and let stand for 4-8 weeks. Shake well every now and then until the sugar is completely dissolved. If desired, add a vanilla pod later and let it steep for another 2 weeks. When the flavor is satisfactory, filter the liqueur and bottle it in attractive containers.
