Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g red cabbage, fresh
- 50 g yogurt 3.5%
- ½ tsp salt
- some pepper
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Clean the red cabbage, quarter it, and remove the middle stalk. Cut the quarters into fine strips or grate them. Sprinkle the strips with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and toss with your hands for 5 minutes, until the red cabbage begins to release its juices. Whisk the lemon juice and pepper with the yogurt until smooth, then toss with the red cabbage. The salad also tastes great the next day. Tip: The salad also tastes great with pomegranate or shaved apple.
