Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, baking powder, and butter and chill for about 15 minutes. Roll out the dough and place it in a greased 30 cm pie or tart dish. Whisk together the remaining ingredients until a dough forms; it will be very runny. Pour the quark mixture onto the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 70 minutes. It will keep for several days. Variation: You can make the dough with 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.
