The best mocha liqueur

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g coffee, ground
  • 600 ml water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 150 ml pear schnapps
  • 300 ml coffee cream or cream
  • 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

It takes a little time, but you’ll be rewarded with great results!

Bring water to a boil, add coffee, and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain the mixture through a coffee filter. Combine the liquid and sugar in a saucepan, stir well, and bring back to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir in the vanilla sugar. Let the syrup cool, add the coffee cream and schnapps, stir well, and bottle. Refrigerate. After about one to two weeks, the liqueur will be beautifully infused. Now just pour and enjoy!
