Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g goulash
  • 12 plum(s), dried
  • 300 ml beer
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 200 ml meat broth
  • 30 g butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Brown the meat in oil, season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan. Sauté the finely diced onions in the pan, return the meat, dust with flour, and briefly roast, stirring. Add the vegetables, sugar, beer, and broth, and braise in the oven (180°C fan oven) for 2-2.5 hours. Add the prunes 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Slice the apples, fry them in the butter, and scatter them over the stew. Garnish with parsley. Serve with pasta or potatoes.
