Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

The recipe originates from a good family friend who usually makes this “classic” dish for birthday parties or similar occasions, but in larger quantities. First, preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Wash and dry the meat, and cut it into fairly small cubes. Peel the onions, halve them, and slice them lengthwise into strips. Clean and quarter the mushrooms. Rub the garlic in a sufficiently large casserole dish. Mix the meat, onions, and mushrooms with the granulated broth, herbs, and spices. Pour over the cream and cover and cook in the oven for 45 minutes (poultry) or just over an hour (pork). Season to taste before serving. We like to serve this with baguette as a side dish.
