Moist crumb nut cake without flour

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g hazelnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 160°C (top/bottom heat). Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until frothy. Mix the nuts and baking powder and fold into the egg mixture. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan. Bake in the hot oven for approximately 45-60 minutes (depending on the oven). Test with a toothpick for doneness. Tip: This cake also tastes great with some spices like cinnamon, cloves, or cardamom.
