Low Carb Gyros Casserole
The perfect low carb gyros casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Gyros-Style chicken strips
- 2 Pc. Broccoli
- 250 g Mushrooms
- 200 g Grated cheese for gratin
- 250 g Crème Fraîche herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Remove the broccoli florets from the stem and cut a deep cross in each end. Cook the broccoli florets in salted water for about 5 minutes.
- Fry the chicken gyros in a hot pan. Finally add the quartered mushrooms and mix everything with the mug of crème fraîche. Let the ingredients simmer gently for about 3 minutes.
- Place the broccoli florets and the ingredients from the pan in a casserole dish and season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle plenty of cheese on top (insider tip: cheddar). Bake the low carb gyros casserole for around 20 minutes at 200 degrees in the preheated oven.
