Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef, lean if possible
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 4 pointed peppers, red and green or Turkish peppers, diced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp black cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Brown the beef and onions in olive oil until crisp, but not too crumbly. Just before the meat is cooked through, add the black cumin and fry briefly. Then add the bell peppers and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and fry. Season with salt. Add the crushed tomatoes and cook until the bell peppers are cooked through but still have a little bite. Serve with spiral pasta! If you don’t want to eat carbs, simply leave out the pasta; it tastes just as good!
