Water flavored with peach, thyme and maple syrup

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 peaches or nectarines
  • 30 ml maple syrup, approx.
  • n. B. Thyme sprig(s), approx. 2 – 3
  • 1 ½ liters of water, approx.
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice, approx.

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 10 minutes

Pit the peaches or nectarines and cut them into thin wedges or slices. Wash 2-3 sprigs of thyme. Combine all ingredients in a carafe or pitcher and let them steep in the refrigerator overnight. Tip: When testing the recipe, it’s best to use the maple syrup sparingly. The flavor quickly becomes too overpowering.
