Quark poppy seed cream with strawberry mousse

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 400 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 60 g sugar
  • 200 ml cream
  • 50 g poppy seed flour, or a little more to taste
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 400 g strawberries, also frozen
  • 30 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine the quark, sugar, and poppy seed mixture. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and stir it into the quark mixture. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the quark mixture. Purée the (thawed) strawberries, sweeten with powdered sugar to taste, and add to the cream. Chill before serving.
