Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g herb cream cheese
- 100 g dried tomatoes in oil
- 2 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 4 large basil leaves
- 1 handful of walnuts, approx. 30 g
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Chop the sun-dried tomatoes, mince the garlic, and add them to the cream cheese. Thoroughly mix in the Parmesan and finely chopped basil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If you like, or want to try something new, you can chop the walnuts, toast them slightly in a dry pan, let them cool, and stir them into the cream cheese. The spread tastes great on ciabatta, baguette, or bread. I served it with tomato and mozzarella, tuna and bean salad, and roasted zucchini as part of a small Mediterranean buffet for dinner.
