Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 40 g vanilla sugar
  • ½ lemon(s), zest
  • 250 g quark, 20% fat
  • 80 g butter, liquid
  • some milk
  • some mineral water
  • 150 g flour, sifted

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simply crispy

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a hand mixer. Add enough milk and sparkling water to create a smooth, yet not too thin batter. Bake the waffles one at a time in the waffle iron at speed 4. We made 8 waffles. Enjoy plain with just powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar, jam, Nutella, or compote. They taste best fresh and are still nice and crispy.
