Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, (yogurt butter pieces), cold
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 100 g wheat flour type 550
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Knead the butter, sugar, ginger, flour, and cornstarch into a dough. Place the dough in a Tupperware container with a lid and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Use a round vegetable cutter to cut out small pieces of dough, approximately 6-7g in weight. Shape these into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. This quantity makes about 50 cookies. Bake at 150°C for about 20 minutes. The cookies should not overcook. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
