Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 egg whites
- 300 g sugar
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- 1 pinch of salt

- 150 g chocolate
- 10 g coconut oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
makes about 50 pieces
Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) top and bottom heat. Place wafers on baking sheets. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form, then drizzle in the sugar. Mix the nuts with the desiccated coconut and fold into the beaten egg whites. Using two teaspoons, place small mounds of wafers onto the wafers. Bake for 30-35 minutes (they should dry more than they bake). Do not use fan-assisted oven. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler and brush half of the macarons with it.
