Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 servings of pork liver
- 1 kg onion(s)
- some oil for frying
- Salt and pepper, black
- some Maggi
- some sauce thickener, dark
- Water
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Fry it in a little oil until browned and set aside. Wash the liver, dust it with a little flour, and fry it in the pan. Then add the onion and cover with water. Cover and simmer for about 1.5 hours. Season with salt, pepper, and a little Maggi. If the sauce isn’t thickened enough, thicken it with a little dark sauce thickener. Serve with mashed potatoes or homemade potato dumplings.
