Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g leek, cleaned
- 50 g clarified butter
- 30 g flour
- ½ cup milk
- 125 ml meat broth
- salt and pepper
- Caraway powder
- nutmeg
- Parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Briefly fry the trimmed and sliced leeks in hot clarified butter, then add the broth and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes until tender. Season with salt, white pepper, ground caraway, and nutmeg. Thicken the vegetables with flour mixed with cold milk, season with salt, and bring to a boil. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving. Goes well with pork and roast pork.
