Salad with tomato, pear and mozzarella

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, dark
  • 3 sprigs basil
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • some peppercorns, pink
  • some pepper, black
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the stems from the tomatoes and then slice them. Peel the pears, remove the cores, and slice them as well. Drain the mozzarella well and slice it as well. Pick the basil leaves and cut them into strips. Mix together a vinaigrette of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Alternate the tomatoes, pears, and mozzarella on plates and sprinkle with the basil, drizzle with the vinaigrette, sprinkle with oregano, and top with some crushed pink peppercorns.
