Creamed pointed cabbage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 260 g pointed cabbage
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • nutmeg
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cream, whipped
  • 1 tsp crème fraîche
  • 100 ml cream, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finely dice the shallot and sauté it in butter with the shredded pointed cabbage (do not let it brown). Pour in the cream, add the lemon juice, and seasoning. Cover the pan and let it simmer until tender. Fold in the crème fraîche and whipped cream before serving.
