Grandma Liese’s recipe for Sunday cake with butter

Cut the butter into small pieces and quickly knead with the other ingredients. Tear the butter into small pieces and spread them on the baked goods. Then bake the cake as usual. The temperature should not exceed 180°C to prevent the crumble from becoming too dark. This crumble is particularly suitable for fruit cakes or pastries. Depending on the type of fruit and the season, you can add a pinch of cinnamon to the crumble. This crumble will stay crispy the next day or after freezing.
