Cookies for every season, for gifts or for game nights
Preheat the oven and bake in the oven (electric oven – 200°C, fan oven – 180°C) for approx. 10 minutes, then let cool! Finely grind the vanilla pod with 2 tablespoons of sugar and beat half of it together with the margarine, salt and egg yolks until fluffy, then stir in the flour a spoonful at a time. Chill the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of approx. 4 mm and cut into rectangles measuring approx. 5 x 6 cm. Cut out playing card designs in the middle of the rectangles. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake. Be careful! They break easily! Melt the white chocolate and spread it over the cooled playing cards. Place half a cranberry on the corners of each one and let dry! Store in a tin! The cookies only really taste of vanilla after a while!
