  • 1 tsp oil (hazelnut oil)
  • 8 figs, fresh, ripe
  • 2 tsp pepper, freshly crushed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, the hazelnuts must be peeled and roasted. Then they are placed in a food processor and ground until they begin to stick together. Next, the oil is added and the mixture is ground until a grainy nut butter forms. Next, the figs are cut lengthwise, a scoop of nut butter is placed on top, and the whole thing is finished with a teaspoon of pepper. Figs make a surprising addition to any appetizer platter.
