Pineapple sausage goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 1 can beans, red
  • 1 can pineapple pieces (580 g)
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can of tomato paste (70 g)
  • 375 ml broth, clear
  • Salt
  • Sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the onions and slice them. Peel the skin from the sausage, halve it if necessary, and slice it. Drain the beans, corn, and pineapple separately, reserving the pineapple juice. Heat the fat. Brown the onions and sausage in it. Add tomato paste and deglaze with the broth and pineapple juice. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add the beans, corn, and pineapple 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Thicken with a sauce thickener and season with salt. Serve with mashed potatoes.
