Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, diced
  • 250 g apples (e.g. Cox Orange), peeled and cored
  • 150 ml cream
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Dice the apples, sauté them in a little melted butter for about 2 minutes, and season lightly with salt. Mash the boiled potatoes and whisk in the cream (Tip: If you like, you can also stir in a knob of butter). Season with salt and freshly grated nutmeg. Finally, fold the sautéed apples into the puree and serve.
