Spaghetti with tomatoes in oil

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g tomatoes
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250g spaghetti
  • ½ bunch basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash and finely chop the basil, leaving only a handful of leaves. Mix with 1 tablespoon of oil and let it marinate for a while. Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Dice the tomatoes and onions, and also finely chop the garlic clove. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Heat 5 tablespoons of good olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions. Then add the garlic clove and the diced tomatoes and fry lightly. Then add the spaghetti and mix well. Add the halved baby tomatoes and the basil oil and let it heat through. Sprinkle with the remaining basil leaves and serve.
