Turkey in cheese and cream sauce with peas

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g turkey meat, shredded
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup of processed cheese with blue mold
  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • some oil
  • Spice(s), of your choice
  • Pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the turkey strips in a little hot oil. Once they’re white all over, meaning the pores are closed, season to taste. Continue frying the meat until golden brown. Then add the cream and cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted. Now add the frozen peas and continue cooking over medium heat until the sauce reaches a creamy consistency. Finally, season to taste with some freshly ground pepper. This goes very well with pasta or rice.
