Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 4 slices of ham (preferably Black Forest ham)
  • 250 g cream
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard, grainy
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

super easy and very tasty

Wash the chicken fillets, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Generously cover the ham slices with the torn parsley. Wrap the ham around the fillets and place seam-down in a baking dish. Mix the cream with the mustard and tomato paste (best with a whisk). Season with salt and pepper. Pour the cream over the fillets. Bake the whole thing for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C. I like it best with rice, but it also works well with pasta, spaetzle, and the like. And of course, you can also serve it with broccoli, cauliflower, or other vegetables.
