Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 250 g minced meat, mixed
- Salt and pepper, cayenne pepper
- 500 ml meat broth
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled, in pieces (425 ml each)
- 3 m.-large carrot(s)
- 1 small zucchini
- 250 g mushrooms
- 3 half bell peppers, red, yellow, green
- 5 small potatoes
- Chili sauce (salsa)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the onion rings until translucent. Add the ground meat and fry until crumbly. Season generously with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Pour in the meat broth, add the tomatoes and their juices, and bring everything to a boil while stirring. Let the stew simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Trim, wash, and slice the carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms. Cut the bell pepper halves into strips. Add the carrots, zucchini, and bell peppers to the stew and simmer gently for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, peel and dice the potatoes, add them to the stew along with the mushrooms, and simmer until the potatoes are tender. Finally, season to taste with salt, pepper, and salsa sauce.
