Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g croissant pasta
  • 250 g bacon, streaky
  • 4 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g cheese (grated cheese)
  • n. B. Oil
  • e.g. parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, dice the streaky bacon. Slice the onions into half rings. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Add the onions a little later (they’ll burn easily otherwise), and sauté until golden brown. Drain the pasta, let it drain briefly, and add it to the pan with the bacon and onions. Mix well. Now add the cheese, let it melt briefly, and serve immediately.
