Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 4 sheets of white gelatin
- 2 sheets of red gelatin
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 1 lemon(s)
- 60 g sugar
- 1 pinch(s) of vanilla sugar
- 200 g whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Dissolve the gelatin leaves in cold water. Mix the buttermilk with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice. Stir in the gelatin (make sure the temperature evens out). Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Whip the cream until stiff and carefully fold about 2/3 of the whipped cream into the mixture. Pour the mixture into dessert bowls or glasses and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Once the mixture has set, garnish with the remaining whipped cream. Tip: If desired, decorate the dessert with chocolate sprinkles, red fruits, or mint leaves.
