Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • some salt
  • 60 g fat, for baking
  • 20 g sugar (1 slightly heaped tbsp)
  • some cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Strain the quark through a sieve and mix with the eggs, sifted flour, and salt. Pour a portion of the batter into a frying pan with melted, hot oil, forming a thick pancake. Cook the pancake on one side until light brown, flip, and then tear into small pieces with two forks. Cook for 6-8 minutes until well browned. Sprinkle the pancake with sugar and cinnamon.
