Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar applesauce, approx. 370g
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

a cooked pudding in grandmother’s style

Beat the eggs with vanilla sugar until light and creamy, mix well with the applesauce, pour into a buttered pudding dish, and bake, covered, in a water bath at 180°C-200°C for about 1 hour. Serve with raspberry sauce, for example.
