Fried bananas

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of baking powder
  • e.g. oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Whisk the egg with the sugar, salt, and baking powder. While whisking, slowly add the flour. The batter should have the consistency of cake batter. Fill a saucepan with about 2 cm of oil and heat. Slice the bananas. Coat each banana slice in the batter, then add it to the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Then flip and fry the other side until golden brown.
