Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 bananas (150 g each)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 slices pineapple (canned)
- 50 g flour
- 75 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp oil
- 100 ml water
- 1 egg white
- 100 g liquid honey
- 30 g sesame seeds
- 1 liter of oil for the wok
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, 1 teaspoon of oil, water, and egg white into a batter. Let it rest for about 1/2 hour. Peel the bananas and drizzle with lemon juice. Pat the pineapple slices dry. Cut both types of fruit into pieces. Heat the oil in a wok. Dip the fruit in batches into the batter and fry in the wok. Heat the honey. Drizzle it over the baked banana and pineapple pieces. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, arrange on plates, and serve immediately.
