Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 pear(s), diced
  • 40 ml liqueur (pear liqueur)
  • 4 kiwis
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Compote with pears, kiwi, white wine, dairy-free, flour-free

Drizzle the pears with the pear liqueur and let it steep, covered. Peel the kiwis. Slice one kiwi and set aside. Puree three kiwis with two-thirds of the pears, the sugar, and the wine. Fold in the remaining pear cubes. Ladle the compote into glasses or dessert bowls and garnish with kiwi slices. Sometimes I use herbal liqueur or Marsala and dollops of cream instead of white wine.
